Terms of service
Last updated September 2026
These are the terms OutWash works to. They are written to be readable rather than legalistic. If anything needs clarifying, just ask.
Prices
The price shown by the online calculator is based on the information you give us about the property. If anything about your property differs from that information, we will confirm the price with you before your first clean. Gutter clearing and roofline cleaning are priced individually.
What a standard clean covers
Standard window cleaning covers normal dirt and weather-related build-up. Removal of paint, render, cement, adhesive, hard-water deposits or other specialist residue is not included unless agreed and priced separately.
The round
Regular window cleaning runs on a six-weekly round. We aim to keep to that interval, but weather, illness and unavoidable delays can move a visit by a few days. You will get a reminder before each visit.
Access
Please leave gates unlocked and access clear on the day of your clean. Where we cannot reach part of the property safely, we will clean what we can and tell you. If there is no external access to the rear, the price is for the front of the property only.
Payment
Regular window-cleaning payments are made by Direct Debit through GoCardless. Once your first clean has been agreed, we will send you a link to set this up. Setting up the Direct Debit does not take payment. Payment is collected automatically after a clean has been completed. If a payment fails we will contact you to sort it out before the next visit.
Cancelling
There is no minimum term or joining fee. You can cancel the regular service at any time by letting us know, and we will take you off the round and cancel the Direct Debit. If you need to skip a single visit, let us know before we arrive.
If you are not happy
If anything isn’t right, let us know and we’ll return within 48 hours to put it right at no extra cost. Call 01392 949242 or email hello@outwash.co.uk.
Liability
We take care around your property and carry public liability insurance. We are not responsible for pre-existing faults such as loose or rotten frames, failed seals, cracked glass or defective guttering, though we will always point out anything we notice.
Your information
How we handle your personal information is set out in our privacy policy.
