OutWash is a residential exterior cleaning business based in Exeter, Devon, providing window cleaning, gutter clearing and roofline cleaning across Exeter and surrounding areas. For data protection purposes we are the data controller for the information described below.

• Quote details. Information about your property such as type, number of storeys and bedrooms, access, and any extras. This is used to work out your price.
• Contact details. Your name, address, postcode, email address and mobile number when you join the round or send an enquiry.
• Notes and photos. Anything you choose to tell us or upload about the job, such as access notes or pictures of the property.
• Service records. Dates of cleans and any correspondence with you.

We do not collect bank details through this website. If you set up a Direct Debit, those details are handled by our payment provider, GoCardless.

To give you a price, arrange and carry out your cleans, send reminders before visits, collect payment, and answer your questions. The lawful bases we rely on are performance of a contract with you, and our legitimate interest in running the round and responding to enquiries.

We share personal information only with the service providers we need to run the business: our website and database hosting provider, our email provider, and GoCardless for Direct Debit payments. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.

We keep customer records for as long as you are on the round, and afterwards only as long as we need to for accounting and tax purposes. Enquiries that do not become work are deleted once they are no longer relevant.

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
