Gutter, fascia & soffit cleaning in Exeter
Green growth, grime and staining can make the roofline look dirty even when the rest of the home is tidy. Our roofline cleaning covers the visible guttering, fascias, soffits and applicable downpipes, improving the appearance of the whole roofline.
This service cleans the outside surfaces of the roofline. It is not the same as gutter clearing, which empties leaves, moss and silt from inside the guttering. If the gutters are blocked as well, they are best cleared first.
What gets cleaned
The roofline, outside surfaces only
Each part of the roofline is cleaned so the result is an even, tidy finish rather than a patchy one.
- Exterior guttering
- The front face of the guttering is washed down, so the streaking and green growth you see from the ground is lifted off.
- Fascias
- The boards behind the guttering are cleaned to remove the grime and traffic film that builds up under the roofline and makes the house look tired.
- Soffits
- The underside boards are washed down, including the corners where algae and cobwebs gather, so the roofline looks cared for from below.
- Downpipes
- Cleaned where applicable, so the finished roofline looks consistent rather than half done.
- Tougher staining
- For heavier staining and organic growth, we can use professional-grade cleaning products where appropriate. Weathered or damaged surfaces may not return to an as-new finish, and we'll let you know if we think that will be the case.
